RSC Equipment opens Gulf Shores store

As part of its growth strategy, RSC Equipment Rental is opening 12 stores, one of which is in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Another 20 stores will open in several U.S. states and in Canada. About half of the planned store openings will be newly added locations, while the others will be relocations of existing stores. Currently, RSC has 470 stores.

RSC President and CEO Tom Zorn said an area of organic growth for RSC during the next few years will come from new stores in key growth markets.

"The new store initiative positions RSC for continued organic growth," Zorn said.
