Tindall Corporation
Precast concrete producer Tindall Corporation, based in Spartanburg,
S.C. recently announced the following promotions.
Previously vice president and general manager of the Virginia
Division, Greg Force has been promoted to president and chief
operating officer. Force is a graduate of Lehigh University
with a degree in civil engineering, and a master's degree
in business from Georgia College & State University.
He is a registered professional engineer and has been with
Tindall since 1988. Force has been involved with PCI activities
for the past twenty years and is a Fellow of the Institute.
Previously vice president and general manager of the Mississippi
Division, Andrew Wise has recently been promoted to vice president
and general manager for the Virginia Division. Drew is a graduate
of Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in economics.
He has been with Tindall since 1971.
Jeff Woodruff was previously engineering and project manager
for the Mississippi Division. He has a degree in civil engineering
from Georgia Tech and is a registered professional engineer.
Woodruff has been with Tindall since 1985.
Mike Branz has recently joined the South Carolina Division
of Tindall Corporation as vice president and general manager.
Under his leadership, the Utilities and South Carolina divisions
will be merged into the South Carolina Division. Branz is
a graduate of Georgia Tech where he earned a bachelor's degree
in mechanical engineering. His recent employer was the Carrier
Company, where he served as president and general manager
for their Beverage-Air Division.
Mike brings experience in research and development, sales,
operations and project management. He is a registered professional
engineer.
Previously the operations manager for the Corrections Division,
Todd Davidson has been promoted to vice president and general
manager for the Corrections Division.
Todd earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
from Georgia Tech and a master's in business administration
from Georgia State. He has been with Tindall since 2000.
Charles Rivenbark has recently been promoted to plant manager
for the Corrections Division in Conley, Ga.
Charles earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering
and a master's degree in industrial engineering from North
Carolina State University and is a registered professional
engineer.
He has been with Tindall since 1994 as the Industrial Engineering
Manager.
Tindall's other locations are in Biloxi, Miss.; Conley, Ga.;
and Petersburg, Va.
Robert "Bobby" Donnes
Brice Building Company has named Robert "Bobby"
Donnes to head its New Orleans area office. As executive vice
president and division manager, Donnes will oversee Brice
operations in New Orleans including major commercial, medical
and institutional projects.
Donnes, a native of Thibodaux, has served in construction-related
fields more than 25 years. Most recently, he served as executive
vice president of Nolmar Corp. of New Orleans. Nolmar and
Brice have worked together in joint venture and subcontractor
relationships during the past several years and have formed
a solid working partnership.
Brice President and CEO Felix M. Drennen III said that Donnes'
history of interaction with Brice made him a "first and
logical choice to lead our New Orleans operations. We appreciated
Bobby's unique capabilities and knew that his values matched
those of Brice."
Donnes will remain on Nolmar's Board of Directors in an advisory
position.
In addition to New Orleans, Brice has offices in Shreveport,
Birmingham, Ala.; Dallas, Texas; Orlando and Deerfield Beach,
Fla.
Brandy Littlejohn Alexander
Brandy Littlejohn Alexander was recently named the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District's value engineer.
In her new position, she will manage the district's value
engineering (VE) program that reduces project costs through
improvements in engineering design and methods.
Alexander, a native of Denver, Colo., received a bachelor's
degree in maritime systems engineering from Texas A&M
University Galveston, and earned her master's degree in civil
and environmental engineering from the University of Houston.
She began working at the Vicksburg District in September
2001 as a hydraulic engineer in the water control section
of the hydraulics branch. Alexander's previous work experience
included positions in Corps' San Francisco District and private
industry.
Professional organizations include membership in SAVE International
(formerly the Society of American Value Engineers).
Jack Odom, Bob Hicks
CLM Equipment Company Inc. recently announced two additions
at its Prairieville location.
Jack Odom, a native of Baton Rouge, joined the company as
operations manager, and has more than 35 years experience
in the construction equipment industry. Odom will oversee
rentals, parts and service for various equipment manufacturers.
Bob Hicks, a resident of Livingston with more than 28 years
experience in the construction equipment industry, joined
CLM as its rental coordinator. He is responsible for rentals,
trucking and billings.
CLM is a leading heavy construction equipment dealer with
locations in Lafayette (Broussard), Lake Charles (Sulphur)
and Baton Rouge (Prairieville), as well a Baytown, Texas,
location serving Beaumont and Houston.
Charles G. Coyle
Charles G. Coyle, president of Coyle Engineering Co. of Bossier
City, recently received the Leo M. Odom Award from the Louisiana
Engineering Society.
The award is given to a registered professional engineer
member of the Louisiana Engineering Society for distinguished
service to the state's engineering profession.
Coyle was previously with the consulting firm of Mohr and
Associates of Shreveport and was appointed the first full
time city engineer for Bossier City.
Lindsey Hernandez
Lindsey Hernandez was recently promoted to general sales
manager at Deep South Equipment Co. of Shreveport. He has
12 years experience in sales with the company.
Patrick Parsons, with eight years experience, transferred
from the Tyler location to become territory manager of north
Louisiana.
Laura Terry has been promoted to purchasing and special projects
manager.
Courtney A. Fenet Jr.
Lake Charles contractor Courtney A. Fenet Jr. was recently
installed as president of the Louisiana Associated General
Contractors, a statewide construction trade association based
in Baton Rouge.
Fenet, president of R. E. Heidt Construction Co., is a longtime
member of the Louisiana AGC and part of the 700-plus construction
businesses comprising the organization. He has been with R.
E. Heidt Construction for 32 years and has served as president
for 15 years.
He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1968 with
a bachelor's degree in history. After graduation, he served
in the United States Navy for two years, then began working
toward his master's degree in business administration at McNeese
State University.
Fenet has served as the Lake Charles AGC District chairman,
the Highway Division chairman, on the Executive Committee
and Board of Directors. He has also served on several construction
related boards and committees and boards and committees including
the Louisiana Asphalt Pavement Association, the Louisiana
State Licensing Board for Contractors, Board of Governors,
National Asphalt Pavement Association and Association of Business
and Industry.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Chamber
of Commerce Southwest Louisiana.
W. P. Wray Jr.
The Louisiana Good Roads and Transportation Association recently
elected W. P. Wray Jr., senior partner of Wray & Pierce
LLP of Baton Rouge, as president for the current year.
Willie T. Taylor, retired district administrator for the
Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, was
elected senior vice president.
Other LGRTA officers elected include Vice President David
"Buddy" Huval, Huval and Associates of Lafayette;
Secretary Dan Powers, vice president of the Baton Rouge Chamber
of Commerce; and Treasurer Preston Eggers, retired executive
vice president of the Louisiana Associated General Contractors.
Newly elected to the Board of Directors are Col. James Champagne,
executive director of the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission;
and Janet Evans, president of Hartman Engineering Inc.
Elected from the Baton Rouge area are Ray W. Burgess, retired
director of the Department of Highways; Robert Canfield, retired
director of the East Baton Rouge Department of Public Works;
Tom Ed McHugh, executive director of the Louisiana Municipal
Association; Ken Naquin, executive director of the Louisiana
AGC; Robert C. Overall Jr., president of Coastal Bridge Co.
Inc.; Neil Wagoner, retired secretary of the Louisiana DOTD;
and J. L. Wax, retired deputy secretary of the Louisiana DOTD.
LGRTA is a statewide non-profit association of more than
800 members dedicated to improving the state's infrastructure
of highway, bridge, air and rail transportation.
Craig A. Schulz
Craig A. Schulz recently joined the Portland Cement Association
of Skokie, Ill., as director of market research.
Schulz has experience in marketing, research and economics
experience including several years with various trade associations.
Prior to joining PCA, Schulz founded CS Market Insight, a
market research and economic consulting company.
Previously, Schulz was the vice president of marketing for
the Steel Service Center Institute from 1995-2001. Additionally,
Schulz worked in the appliance industry from 1986-1995 for
Amana Appliances and with the Association of Home Appliance
Manufacturers.
He has a master's degree in business from the University
of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
